I have been working as a post-production producer at GYAR for almost 10 years now.
How did you get into the industry?
Accidentally. Originally, I applied for a reception position at the GYÁR in 2014. I have always been interested in the creatively chaotic world of filmmaking. Fortunately, the team was very open and they provided me with the opportunity to see the work processes and thus to develop continuously. Which paid off, as a few months later I already strengthened the team of the production department.
What is your superpower?
I am a natural born problem-solver and efficient communicator, which helps a lot to run our projects easily and achieve successful results. ;)
What were your favourite projects so far?
Among my favorite projects so far, it would be difficult to single out just one, as each of them brought me special challenges and experiences. For example, one of my memorable tasks was a commercial full of complicated visual effects. In this project the main challenge was to work out the details and coordinate the tight deadlines. My other favorite project was supervising the post-production coordination of a major advertising campaign, where time management and multi-actor collaboration proved to be the biggest test.
What do you do if you are not working?
When I'm not working, I like to travel and explore new places. Exploring the diverse cuisines of different nations is a source of great joy for me, and I eagerly recreate these dishes in my own kitchen.
How do you grow professionally?
In recent months, I've encountered new challenges as I transitioned from post-production to participating in several end-to-end film production projects. Each project has provided unique opportunities for my professional growth, and I've gained valuable insights and lessons from each experience. Overall, it's been an enriching journey… :)
What is your favourite movie of all time?
Intouchables.
